The Children’s Museum of Naples is pleased to introduce two collections which become a part of the new museum when
it opens in the fall of 2010. The 2,000 object collection of Dr. Ernestine A. O’Connell, of Venice, Florida (1923-2009)
which features native culture masks and other objects from around the world collected by her during a forty year period,
will join the brainchild of William Meek, a collection of American Art depicting Children as a Subject in American Art,
which are being donated by artists, estates of artists, and collectors. See a sampling of these two collections during the
first two weeks of 2010 at the Harmon-Meek Gallery.
